What we do
Mission Critical Construction.
Louth Callan is a construction-first mission-critical EPC firm. We design, procure, and construct complete data center facilities — and the high-voltage transmission, substation, and interconnection systems that power them.
Speed to power. Speed to occupancy.
As demand for AI, cloud, and high-density computing accelerates, data center owners need a partner who can execute both the facility and the power backbone — with schedule certainty and zero-compromise reliability.
Our mission-critical capability provides end-to-end EPC delivery for the entire data center: civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and the grid-critical power infrastructure behind it. Integrated engineering, rigorous quality control, and tight interface management protect both the timeline and long-term performance.
Capabilities
The facility and the power behind it.
Complete data center facility
- Site development, civil works and foundations
- Structural systems and building envelope
- Mechanical systems — HVAC, cooling and environmental controls
- Electrical distribution, switchgear and critical power systems
- Fire protection, security and life-safety systems
- Commissioning and turnover of the complete facility
High-voltage power infrastructure
- Dedicated data center substations and switchyards
- Transmission and distribution interconnections, 69kV–500kV
- Protection and controls, relaying, SCADA and control houses
- Grid upgrades required to support large new loads
- On-site medium- and high-voltage distribution and generator integration
- Redundant feed designs and balance-of-plant electrical construction
Integrated turnkey delivery
- Single-source EPC responsibility for the facility and its power infrastructure
- Interface management with utilities, OEMs and owner teams
- Long-lead procurement of transformers, switchgear and specialized equipment
- Pre-construction: site layout, constructability reviews, utility studies and permitting support
- Full commissioning, testing and energization support
Our approach
How the work is sequenced.
01 — Early planning and constructability
Align facility design, power systems, site conditions and utility requirements from the start, while changing any of them is still cheap.
02 — Disciplined procurement
Long-lead transformers, switchgear, mechanical equipment and specialized materials are managed proactively, because on this work the critical path usually runs through a factory rather than a site.
03 — Integrated field execution
Civil, structural, mechanical and electrical scopes are sequenced together with strong coordination across every interface.
04 — Commissioning and handover
Thorough testing and documentation so both the facility and the power systems are ready for reliable, continuous operation on day one.
05 — A lifecycle mindset
Built with future capacity expansion, maintenance access and long-term operational reliability designed in rather than retrofitted.
Data centers require more than buildings.
They require reliable power and seamless execution. We construct the entire facility and the power infrastructure that feeds it under one accountable team, which removes the fragmented responsibility and interface risk that a mission-critical schedule cannot absorb.
We self-perform the key civil, structural, and electrical scopes, and in-house engineering, procurement, and field teams work as one unit from early planning through commissioning — because on this work, facility readiness and power reliability are both non-negotiable.
We work with data center developers and operators, hyperscale and colocation providers, industrial and large energy consumers, utilities supporting new data center loads, and asset owners who need both full-facility delivery and high-reliability power infrastructure.
