The Numbers.
An EMR below 1.00 means a safety record better than the industry average for our trade. Zero recordable incidents and zero lost-time incidents means nobody was hurt on our sites last year.
It Starts With Training.
Louth Callan enforces high safety standards on all projects, and that starts with good training. Every employee in the Operations Department has a minimum 10 hours of OSHA certification training. Managers are required to obtain the 30-hour OSHA Certification, and some employees hold a 40-hour HAZWOPER OSHA Certification.
A job-specific health and safety plan is implemented for all projects, and we hold daily safety site briefings and random site safety inspections.
